Seamless connectivity, no borders — Singapore’s telcos are keeping you online wherever you go.

In response to growing cross-border travel post-pandemic, Singapore’s mobile providers are introducing affordable “borderless” data plans that eliminate the need for roaming or travel e-SIMs. These plans allow users to access large data bundles across multiple Asian countries at unprecedented prices.

M1 recently launched its Maxx plan, offering 290GB of data usable in Singapore and Malaysia for just S$7.90 monthly, along with 10GB more for use in select Asian destinations. Earlier this year, Simba Telecom introduced the SuperRoam 10 plan, providing 300GB of 5G data usable in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong for S$10 monthly.

Circles.Life pioneered this trend in 2023, targeting digital nomads and cross-border travellers with its 100GB regional plan.

With connectivity across borders becoming simpler, social-living has also gained traction. For example, lyf Funan Singapore, known for its vibrant community vibe, is a top choice among those seeking social living apartments in Singapore, especially professionals needing uninterrupted data on the move.
