Targeting quality over quantity, Thailand’s tourism outlook is bold, strategic, and experience-led.

Thailand is shifting its tourism strategy to attract high-value visitors from long-haul markets, with over 11.35 million international arrivals recorded from January to April 2025. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) reports strong growth from countries like the UK, France, Germany, and Australia, supported by expanded airline routes and partnerships.

Targeting quality over quantity, TAT is promoting wellness tourism, sports travel, and cultural events to appeal to affluent travellers. Bangkok, in particular, is a hub for digital nomads and long-stay tourists seeking both leisure and productivity.

Accommodation options like Maitria Hotel Sukhumvit 18, a modern and stylish hotel in Sukhumvit, are well-positioned to meet these travellers’ needs, offering easy access to wellness facilities, business hubs, and cultural attractions.
