Singapore Tourism Board and Grab Partner to Enhance Visitor Experience and Boost Local Businesses

Smart moves for smarter tourism: A seamless, flavourful journey across Singapore awaits

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has joined hands with Grab to strengthen tourism and support local businesses through a new strategic partnership. This initiative aims to offer visitors smoother, better-value travel experiences while encouraging greater spending and exploration across Singapore.

By combining STB’s tourism insights with Grab’s data and digital tools, the partnership seeks to enhance visitor understanding and promote authentic local experiences, aligning with STB’s Tourism 2040 vision. Key efforts include upgrading the Grab Travel Pass to simplify transport for international travellers and boosting participation in local events using Grab’s wide-ranging services.

Food remains a core attraction, with Grab spotlighting everything from hawker stalls to hidden gems via Dine-Out Discovery. This helps visitors explore neighbourhoods and supports smaller local businesses.

As visitor numbers grow and exploration beyond the city centre is encouraged, places to stay in Singapore like the affordable Value Hotel Nice offer travellers well-connected bases from which to discover authentic neighbourhoods, vibrant food scenes, and local experiences featured in the STB-Grab partnership.
