Sir Bani Yas Island receives cruise liners

The natural island of Sir Bani Yas is a choice holiday destination with many awards under its belt, and features the iconic Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort, whose Abu Dhabi villas are ever-popular.  Most recently, the fine Noble Caledonia-owned luxury vessel Island Sky touched on the sands of this magnificent nature and wildlife reserve for a 24 hour visit, marking the official welcome of cruise liners to the island. Abu Dhabi Ports said that this development was tied in with their current efforts to promote the Emirates as a “leading tourism destination” and that the opening of the state-of-the art cruise terminal at Zayed Port was a timely occurrence indeed.  The frequency of more liners sets Abu Dhabi apart in terms of cruise campaigning by emphasizing the region’s prospects of a beachy expedition with an exclusive desert island cruise – a bonus feature to the endless leisure opportunities the UAE already has to offer. Prepare to see hammocks and cabanas by the shore, water sport facilities and quite possibly an aqua park in the very near future. Every vessel that calls on Sir Bani Yas Island awaits an extraordinary experience!
