At the OTDYKH Leisure Travel and Tourism Fair recently held in Moscow, Russia with the participation of over 20 countries, Sri Lanka also marked its presence with the prime objective of increasing awareness about the country and its attractions in the Russian market. Through the discussions, it was made evident that boutique hotels in Bentota and in other areas have been popular among the Russian tourists and that the unfortunate Easter attacked that happened back in April has had an impact on the demand conditions quite noticeably.
