SLTPB Plans Aggressive Marketing Push at WTM London

As Sri Lanka Tourism has been apart of the World Travel Market (WTM) for quite a number of years now, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) is planning on being part of the event this year as well. The WTM for 2019 is scheduled to take place on the from the 4th to the 6th of November in London. The WTM is an even that promotes tourism activities of countries across the world, it also motivates small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the industry, hoteliers and travel enthusiast.

The SLTPB has come up with various travel opportunities to present to travellers in the UK which is also one of the country’s biggest tourism target markets. The key elements that will be marketed are the destinations in Sri Lanka such as Bentota, hotel and hospitality services like those at AVANI Bentota Resort & Spa and exports like the world-renowned Ceylon Tea.
