Thailand once again celebrated its biggest festival, the Songkran Festival, in a weeklong of festivities that was a blend of religious and cultural activities as well as merrymaking. Songkran Festival is the traditional Thai New Year and this year it was held on the 13th and 14th of April. Songkran is the time when families get together and feast and it is also the time for the water pouring ritual which in modern times has reached a whole new level!
