The South Asian Travel Trade (SATTE) was successfully concluded on 17th February, at the Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Organised by one of India’s leading exhibition organisers, the Union Ministry of Tourism India, the three-day event included participation from nearly all Indian state tourism boards. Several international hotel groups were also in attendance, like Minor Hotels who have properties around Asia, such as the AVANI Hotels & Resorts. Official site doesn’t currently list any AVANI Hotels & Resorts in India, but the group does have several established other brands in the area. According to organisers, the travel trade show provides a stage to both local and international professionals from the travel and hospitality sectors to gather and discuss new market opportunities including promotion of tourism in India to both inbound and outbound clientèle.
