Southbank Centre Showcases Winter Light Display – Unique Illumination in London

An open-air exhibition, open free to the public, Winter Light is continuing its showcase of unique creations from talented and well-known artists from around the world. These artworks can be viewed at locations across the Southbank Centre, located close to hotels near Liverpool Street including properties the likes of Pan Pacific London. Launched on 4th November 2021, Winter Light will be on display till 9th January 2022; while some installations can be seen from 10:00 am onwards, the full exhibition runs from dusk till approximately 11:30 pm.

The theme for this year’s display is “light and color” and the creations feature various techniques, colors and lighting to explore diverse ideas be it on society, politics, technology, nature or spirituality. Some of the highlights include Car Show by Anne Roininen, Dichroic Sphere by Jakob Kvist, Aath, Breath & Submission by Zarah Hussain and Dresden Dynamo by Lis Rhodes.
