With growing concerns for the preservation of coral reefs across the globe, Spa Ceylon Sri Lanka, the world’s largest Ayurveda brand also promised its commitment to the cause last year. Joining hands with Biodiversity Sri Lanka, the brand volunteered to be part of the Life to Our Coral Reefs. The big news was announced at the unveiling of the festive collection last year – Undersea Paradise, at the One Galle Face Mall in Colombo.
This collection of Ayurveda products in Sri Lanka was inspired by the wonder of the ocean. Co-founder and Group Director of Spa Ceylon, Shalin Balasuriya stated in his speech that coral conservation is now an extension of their many green initiatives to protect the environment. He also mentioned that through the brand’s festive range, awareness about coral conservation will be spread across 30 countries. Each purchase from this collection aided in preserving the endangered marine ecosystems in Sri Lankan waters.
