Sri Lanka Added to UK’s Travel Corridor List

Safe-to-travel Destination

Along with several other countries, Sri Lanka was added to the UK travel corridor in November 2020. It means that the travellers stepping into England, Northern Ireland, and Wales from countries listed in the UK travel corridor are not expected to quarantine for two weeks; they may even have the potential of travelling to these countries for winter holidays once travel restrictions are lifted.

From 4 am on November 21st last year, travellers arriving in the UK, possibly after a holiday spent at one of the Pasikuda hotels in Sri Lanka such as Maalu Maalu were not required to self-isolate for 14 days as long as they haven’t transited through any other non-exempt countries during their flight back to the UK.
