Sri Lanka participates in ASTINDO Travel Fair 2018 in Jakarta – The Island Makes A Return to the Travel Fair

When it comes to travel to Indonesia, the ASTINDO Fair is the biggest event concerning the industry and showcases the biggest names concerning travel, including major local entities as well as renowned international ones.

The exhibition is the best places for international travel entities to discover the wide range of attributes Jakarta has to offer, such as a rich heritage and wildlife, and a vibrant culture that is an essential experience.

Sri Lanka’s performance was hailed for showcasing many attributes of its culture through ceremonies utilising items such as oil-lamps. Since the entire event involved a partnership between the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau and The Embassy of Sri Lanka in Jakarta, many travel entities in Sri Lanka, such as Scottish Planter Glendevon Bungalow, one of the various holiday bungalows in Nuwara Eliya would witness an increase in Indonesian visitors.
