Sri Lanka re-opens for Indian travellers – Welcoming India!

Sri Lankan tourism authorities have decided to welcome Indian tourists who are fully vaccinated. It is reported that even those who have received the Covaxine vaccine are entitled to this special decision taken by the Sri Lankan government. However, it should be noted that every traveller entering the country will have to undergo a PCR test upon arrival. If they are tested negative, no quarantine procedure will be applied and they will be free to explore Sri Lanka wearing masks and keeping to social distance.

Sri Lankan Airlines will also make necessary arrangements to accommodate this decision and it will cover Chennai, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and a few other new cities in India when this decision is finally implemented. If these travellers wish to explore Kandy Sri Lanka, hotels the likes of Hotel Topaz will welcome them with true Sri Lankan hospitality. The relaxed guidelines will help all these travellers to enjoy everything that Sri Lanka has with no barriers.
