Sri Lanka Receives Safe Travels Stamp from World Travel

Recently, Sri Lanka was awarded the Safe Travels Stamp by the World Travel and Tourism Council. This was in recognition of the safety protocols that were established by the Sri Lankan government in addition to the regulations decreed by the SLTDA to guarantee the continued health of its travellers from near and far. This recognition further allows travellers to identify many a luxury resort in Kandy, Sri Lanka the likes of Hunas Falls Hotel Kandy that conscientiously follow the required health practices from a global point of view.

Kimarli Fernando, Chairperson of Sri Lanka Tourism, stated that the country is now ready to welcome its international travellers although each aspect of them will be entirely evaluated with the essential safety precautions in place.
