Sri Lanka Resumes on Arrival Visa for Tourists

Here is some good news for international travellers: Sri Lanka reopened its on-arrival visa facility for tourists after it was on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, the facility will not be available to travellers from 10 countries including Pakistan, Myanmar, Cameron, North Korea, and Nepal. According to a recent government statement, the on-arrival Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) facility is available for tourists entering the island nation from 8 February 2022. As tourism has been the third-largest FOREX earner in Sri Lanka, the move to issue an on-arrival ETA would elevate the country’s tourism industry. So, if you are an international traveller, outside of the 10 countries, seeking luxurious accommodation in a coastal town like Tangalle, resort hotels such as Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort are ready to offer world-class services to you.
