According to the State Minister of Urban Development, Housing and Coastal Conservation, the island of Sri Lanka will be opening two dozen beach properties as an effort to develop tourism offerings and help contribute towards the country’s economy. In comparison to the previous year, the country has attracted over 729,000 tourists, while revenue increased by 45.1% in the first six months of the year.
