Sri Lanka to Reopen Borders But Tourists Will Be Repeatedly Tested and Banned from Public Transport

Safety Measures Employed!

Sri Lanka has begun allowing tourists into the country since the 1st of August but with strict and rigorous health and hygiene checks both at the airport and in hotels and inns across the country. Travellers to the country will be required to bring a certificated with them declaring that they are not infected 72 hours before boarding a plane to Sri Lanka. They will also be required to take a coronavirus test when they arrive at the Bandaranaike International Airport.

With travel to Sri Lanka reopened, the tourism ministry is looking at a quick growth, especially in the outlying regions where crowds are less likely to be. Visit websites the likes of Truly Sri Lanka to learn more about which parts of Sri Lanka you hope to visit over the latter part of the year.
