Sri Lanka welcomes international guests – Visit a beautiful island nation

Sri Lanka, the Pearl of the Indian Ocean is receiving considerable numbers of travellers currently after the pandemic. Gates for international travellers were opened in January 2021 and the Government also made sure that a proper safety mechanism was implemented to safeguard the travellers.

The vaccination program for the local citizens is currently in place, and Sri Lanka also carries out its quarantine programs quite effectively. All the best hotels in Nuwara Eliya the likes of Heritance Tea Factory are also open to international guests now similar to the Colombo hotels, and they also have the best safety and hygiene practices to prevent the COVID 19 risks. The Government is looking forward to arranging more flexible quarantine and holiday packages for travellers who have already got themselves vaccinated and come to Sri Lanka.
