Suggestions at “Imagine Thailand 2020” to improve Competitiveness of Tourism

The Imagine Thailand 2020, tourism conference which was organized by the Pacific Asia Travel Association recently. Many leading professionals in the tourism industry were involved in the conference. The purpose of holding such an event was to increase the competitiveness of the country’s tourism industry.

Among the panel members were the CEO and Chairman of Minor International Hotel Group William Heinecke who stated that the destinations has a lot to offer the international tourists however the necessity to improve air connectivity of main tourist attractions such as Hua Hin and Pattaya should be taken into consideration. Travellers holidaying in the region could consider staying at featured Hua Hin hotels such as Anantara Hua Hin Resort & Spa that provides luxury accommodation and ease of access to many cultural attractions.
