Brisbane’s most spectacular firework display, Sunsuper Riverfire, will be taking centre stage once again as it closes the Brisbane Festival 2016. One of the main events at the festival, Sunsuper Riverfire attracts thousands of visitors every year as it lights up the skies with its fireworks display, superb aerobatics displays by the Australian defence forces and much more. Taking place on 24th September, at the city’s leading entertainment and cultural destination, South Bank, located near the Brisbane River, the Australian Defence Force will rule the air during the afternoon and late evening before, the pyrotechnics wrap up the festival with firework display set to music that was previously voted for by locals. Various vantage points around the city include several Brisbane hotel accommodation options such as Oaks Charlotte Towers, which offers a direct view of the display from across the river.
