Super sports Laguna Phuket Marathon to be Held in June – 8000 Runners on One Objective
Phuket’s largest sporting event, the Supersports Laguna Phuket Marathon, expects 8000 runners this time. The marathon will be held from 10th to 11th June at Laguna Phuket. The event is organised by GAA events, and it is a qualifying event for the renowned Boston Marathon. It has held the gold standard for 17 years and acts as a key income generator for the island’s tourism economy.
The event is open to all age groups and abilities, and the marathon takes a festive nature at the start and finish line at Laguna Grove. There is the 2km kids run, 5km and 10.5km runs, the half marathon of 21 km, and the marathon of 42 km. The marathon relay of 42 km takes place on Sunday, 11th June.
