Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase Hosted in Cessnock – A Laugh Out Loud Event!

As part of its 2021 tour, the Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase was hosted this month in Cessnock, a city in the Hunter Region of New South Wales, Australia. The show, which featured some of the country’s best comedians, took place on 13th August 2021 at the Cessnock Performing Arts Centre within easy reach of the Elysia Wellness Retreat; those who stayed at such a wellness retreat NSW has to offer were able to add some ‘laughter therapy’ to their holistic healing as they enjoyed performances by veteran as well as up-and-coming comedians.

The Sydney Comedy Festival Showcase was launched in 2013 as a way in which those who stayed outside of Sydney city and missed the annual Sydney Comedy Festival, could enjoy some of the performances. It proved to be a huge success and has grown over the years taking comedic talents to regional Australia on a rib-tickling tour that has audiences in fits of laughter.
