Taking Emirate to the World with Monaco Yacht Show, 2022

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism collaborated with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism and Dubai Maritime to take part in Monaco’s yacht show this year, with the hope of bringing the emirate to the world. This four-day event took place from 28 September to 1 October in the presence of 580 exhibitors, including destination representatives, yacht management companies, superyacht designers and builders and automotive brands. With over 30,000 visitors, the event was an opportune moment for the UAE superyacht industry regulators, stakeholders, and service providers to bring the emirates Super Yacht products and services to the limelight.

The event not only highlighted UAE’s industry legislation improvements including Immigration and custom clearance updates but also brought the UAE’s highly anticipated calendar events including Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix 2022 and Abu Dhabi International Boat Show to the public attention. Interestingly, the promotion of the Yacht industry is expected to indirectly boost the emirate’s tourism sector with tourists from around the world finding an Abu Dhabi villa the likes of Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort, an attractive choice of stay.
