Tallest tower in Abu Dhabi named after Sheikh Mohammed

The tallest tower of the Emirati capital, The World Trade Center Abu Dhabi, has been re-christened to honor His Highness Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. If you are staying at the iconic Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Al Sahel Villa Resort, Abu Dhabi, a premier among the luxury Abu Dhabi villas, the 382 meters high tower is a must see attraction.

At the ceremony held to mark the UAE Flag Day, National Security Advisor and Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council, Sheikh Hazza said that the move “reflects the strong bonds of fraternity and love among all Emiratis, and reflects the high status of Sheikh Mohammed in the UAE and internationally, with a remarkable record of achievements and foresight that had a substantial impact on the development and prosperity in the UAE.”
