Tanzania announces 14-day mandatory quarantine for travelers – Safety matters!

According to the latest news coming from Tanzania, all travellers (regardless of the category they belong to foreign or returning local) should follow mandatory quarantine sessions for 14 days upon arrival to the country. The tourism officials took this decision as new COVID 19 variants are being found from different parts of the world from time to time.

At the point of entry to the country, every traveller will have to go through rapid tests, and then the quarantine process will take place. Foreigners will have to go to designated quarantine centers of the government, whereas the returning residents have the chance to get quarantined at their homes. Travellers can then head to any of the Zanzibar resorts the likes of The Residence Zanzibar by Cenizaro and enjoy some beautiful moments without any fear. However, all individuals are asked to follow social distancing guidelines and to wear masks all the time.
