TAT Plans for the most spectacular grand Songkran Celebration Ever

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) recently held the most spectacular Songkran Celebration ever together with “Songkran Splendours: The Procession of Three Kingdoms” which saw the gala opening ceremony held for massive crowds in Bangkok on 10th April, 2016. Bangkok is a popular tourist destination with tourist hotspot towns like Chiang Mai having plenty of accommodation choices with luxury hotels in Chiang Mai such as the famous Anantara Chiang Mai Resort. Songkran event means Thai New Year festival that is celebrated in different parts of Thailand with a modern twist to it. It showcases Thailand’s cultural diversity and the heritage of each and every region to help those visiting locals and foreigners decide where in Thailand to celebrate the New Year festival.
