The wait is finally over for fans of Teenage Fan Club in Hong Kong; the legendary Scottish indie rock band is making their live debut next month in Wan Chai! Founded by Norman Blake who contributes on vocals and guitar, the band has released a total of 11 studio albums and amassed a huge following through the years. The concert is all set to take place on 1st February 2019 at The Vine Centre within easy reach of Wan Chai and Tsim Sha Tsui hotels the likes of Park Hotel Hong Kong.
Formed in the latter part of the 1980s, Teenage Fan Club is known for bringing together indie rock with unique vocals and strong songwriting which have given them a cult band status in the UK. While their first studio album, ‘A Catholic Education’ was released in 1990, it was there 1991 album release, ‘Bandwagonesque’ that really brought them into the international music spotlight. Known as the ‘Fannies’ by fans, the band will play some of their much-loved hits for what is bound to be an unforgettable night of music.
