The 30th edition of the Thai International Travel Fair commenced on the 16th of January. This was an opportunity for businesses to showcase their products and services in the tourism industry. It also brought about the opportunity for tourists to interact with tourism operators to find out more about the available packages.
The highlight of this year’s trade fair includes special packages from some of the leading operators in the industry and the celebration of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China. Attendees were entertained by beautiful cultural performances. They could also visit the Chinese product booth. The event was held at the Sirikit National Convention Center located about 23 minutes away from Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok which is a popular Bangkok city hotel. About 300,000 attendees were recorded at the event generating close to 300 million baht in revenue.
