A subsidiary of Indonesia’s Lion Air, Thai Lion Air, has increased flight frequency from Jakarta to Bangkok. The flights that were once a day will now operate twice a day on Monday. Departing from Don Mueang International Airport at 9:00 am, the flight SL116 (Boeing 737-900ER) will arrive at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at local time 12:30 pm. SL117, the return flight will take off at 1:10 pm and arrive in Bangkok at 5:30 pm.

The CEO and chairman of Thai Lion Air, Capt. Darsito Hendro Seputro, says that the increase in demand for transport in Southeast Asia has led to this decision. The flights also bring out the potential in connecting those travelling from Jakarta to other cities through Bangkok. Travellers will find it easier to reach and explore Bangkok and Jakarta too. Therefore, accommodation services provided by places like Anantara Riverside Bangkok Resort which is a popular Bangkok resort will have great opportunities as well.
