The globally popular travel site TripAdvisor recently published its list of the Top 25 Beaches in Asia as voted at its Travellers’ Choice awards. Of note was the fact that the list featured five beaches each from India and Thailand. The number one place went to Radhanagar Beach on Havelock Island, part of India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands. India had two more beaches in the top 10 namely Agonda Beach and Varca Beach, both of which are in Goa.
Ranked number three, Thailand’s highest placed entry was Nai Harn Beach in Rawai which can be found in the island of Phuket which is also home to Karon Beach, which came in at eighth place. A popular tourist draw, this Thai island is known for its luxury Phuket hotel options including the likes of Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas which offer beachside getaways.
