Following the resumption of its quarantine-free travel schemes for fully vaccinated travellers in February this year, Thailand continues to provide tourists with hassle-free access to the country. It has since then been revising the entry requirements making it even easier for travellers to visit. For example, from 1st April 2022, those arriving no longer had to show proof of a negative result of an RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours before departing to Thailand.
Fully vaccinated travellers heading here under the Sandbox or Test & Go programmes can once more enjoy key tourist destinations such as Phuket; resort options here including the likes of Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas are amongst the SHA Extra+ certified properties where one must have a reservation. Additionally, tourists should have a day one COVID-19 RT-PCR test booked and perform a day five self-test using an Antigen Test Kit (ATK), while the result should be uploaded via the MorChana mobile app.
