Thailand Focuses on Responsible Tourism – Sustainable & Eco-Friendly Initiatives to Be Key

In the recently held APEC CEO Summit 2022, Thailand presented the country’s direction for “Responsible Tourism for Sustainability”. This was highlighted at the summit which was held in Bangkok from 16th to 18th November this year, by the Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn; he added that the nation will be focusing on environmentally friendly tourism that’s sustainable and inclusive as well while providing meaningful experiences for travellers.

The Tourism Authority of Thailand is additionally emphasising the need to promote sustainable tourism products that take into account customer behaviour data too. It will also look to transform the sector to one that values experiential tourism, is more customer-centric and fosters collaboration between tourism industry players. With the country fully open for all travellers now, it’s a great place to explore once more and experience the best natural features when on a stay at a 5-star resort Phuket has to offer; such properties include SAii Laguna Phuket beside the pristine Bangtao Beach from where you can easily head to other natural attractions on the island too.
