Thailand Introduces Half-Price Travel Scheme to Revive Tourism

Half the price, double the reason to explore Thailand.

Thailand has announced the “Half-Price Thailand Travel” scheme, a government-backed initiative designed to boost tourism and stimulate the economy. Registration opens on June 25, 2025, with the programme running from July through October.

Under the scheme, travellers will enjoy up to 50% subsidies on weekday hotel stays and 40% on weekends, set at a maximum of 3,000 baht per night. In addition, participants will receive five entitlements, each including a 500 baht coupon for activities and meals at selected venues.

The government has allocated 1.76 billion baht to the programme, which is expected to generate over 35 billion baht in revenue, attract 2.67 million more visitors, and create more than 40,000 jobs in tourism and hospitality.

For those seeking comfort and convenience, Modena By Fraser Bangkok stands out among properties offering Bangkok hotel special offers, making it an ideal choice for travellers looking to maximise this exciting initiative.
