Thailand June tourist arrivals rise – Year-on-year tourism increase in Thailand

Knowing this, it is no surprise that the country experiences a rise in tourist arrivals by 11.6% year-on-year. The most number of visitors to Thailand came from China, Malaysia and India amounting to a total of 3.03 million tourist arrivals on an international scale. Statistics show that tourists spent as much as 148.4 billion Baht in June which is an increase of 14.52% from the previous year. From January to June, income from tourists amounted to 1.02 trillion Baht. Such receipts make up 12% of the gross domestic product in Thailand this year.
