Thailand and Kazakhstan have agreed on a visa-free travel arrangement to enhance tourism between the two countries. Citizens can now travel to each other’s nations without visas, allowing stays up to 30 days per visit and a maximum of 90 days within 180 days, as reported by VisaGuide.World.
This initiative follows Thailand’s successful attraction of 9.4 million tourists in the first quarter of 2024, with significant numbers from China, Malaysia, and Russia. Thailand is also proposing a joint visa program with neighboring countries, including Laos and Cambodia, to further stimulate tourism.
These efforts are part of Thailand’s broader strategy to welcome between 35 to 40 million tourists this year and generate substantial revenue from international visitors. 5 Star and 4 Star hotels in Krabi and other areas in Thailand, including Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort, stand to benefit from these initiatives as Thailand continues to expand its tourism offerings and accessibility.
