Covid hit, Thailand tourism is on the fast track to recovery with the country’s recent mandate to lift all pandemic-borne restrictions. According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, visitors to the country are no longer required to wear masks or abide by restrictions on public gatherings. Travellers can simply enter the country by presenting one key document- either the Covid 19 vaccination certificate or a negative PCR or an antigen test.
This splendid travel destination witnessed an exponential growth in tourist arrivals no sooner than the announcement came into effect with at least 9,000 visitors setting foot in the country. A rise in the total influx of tourists was also seen, particularly from checkpoints bordering Malaysia and Laos. Thailand has a line of surprises up its sleeves for the curious traveller. So why not kickstart your vacation at this spectacular destination with a stay at a luxury hotel in Phuket the likes of Anantara Layan Phuket Resort?
