Thailand Ranks 10th Most Popular for Global Visitors – An Idyllic Vacation Destination!

Thailand is a nation which continues to dominate the global tourism industry; and for the year of 2017 it has been ranked 10th as the most popular tourist destination in the world. Though the country has dropped one spot being the ninth in 2016, it has been projected that this year it would rank further inwards on the line up of the top 10. The ministry of tourism has projected 38 million visitors this year. Half of the projected number was reached during the first five months of the year when more than 19 million visitors flooded the nation during the first half of the year of the year. The country is expecting more guest tho arrive during the last few months for the year as this is the time which marks the holiday season around the globe. Also resort properties in resort locations in Thailand like, Anantara Bophut Koh Samui Resort along with many other Koh Samui resorts are making necessary arrangements to accommodate the high tourist footfall predicted by the ministry.
