Thailand Ranks 31st in WEF Tourism Competitiveness Index

Known as the land of smiles, it comes as no surprise that Thailand received a spot on the list of the most competitive countries when it comes to travel and tourism. The World Economic Forum releases the results of a TTC analysis made every two years. The 2019 results are out, and Thailand ranks 31st in the list.

Thailand boasts some of Asia’s most wonderful natural attractions as well as historical relics that are worth exploring. Furthermore, the country also has one of the most efficient tourist service infrastructures. The country ranked first was Spain followed by France, Germany and Japan. Singapore, in the south-eastern region was placed 1st and Vietnam 5th.
