Thailand has wrapped up a strong showing at Tourism Expo Japan 2025 in Nagoya, using the event to deepen its connection with Japanese travellers and introduce tourism experiences aimed at younger and emerging groups. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) led the country’s presence at the four-day expo, unveiling a vibrant pavilion that featured cultural performances, wellness demonstrations, craft workshops, and digital activities designed to spark fresh interest among diverse audiences.
TAT representatives emphasised that Japan remains a priority market, noting rising seat capacity from major Japanese cities and ongoing campaigns aimed at first-time visitors, Gen Z travellers, and repeat tourists. The country’s rich traditions, community tourism, and wellness experiences continue to resonate strongly.
Among the accommodations gaining attention for nature-driven travel experiences is Lacol Khaoyai, an elegant and popular hotel in Khaoyai that complements the rising demand for serene escapes beyond Thailand’s major urban centres.
