Thailand Steps Up Promotion of its Digital Nomad Visas – Experiencing the Country is Easier Than Ever

This multiple-entry visa is valid for 5 years, offering greater flexibility for those planning long-term stays. This initiative which is available for citizens from 93 selected countries was launched on 15th July 2024 and garnered a positive response.

To further encourage such travellers, the Thai government recently stepped up its promotion of the digital nomad visa. As reported by the Bangkok Post in September this year, Maris Sangiampongsa, the Thai Foreign Affairs Minister further emphasised the value of this initiative which will help to boost the local economy as well.
