Thailand Updates Entry Rules for Tourists – ‘Thailand Pass’ Registration Lifted

Since the reopening of its international borders, Thailand has been reviewing and updating its entry requirements for travellers with many of the previous restrictions being lifted. As of 1st July 2022, such foreign visitors no longer had to submit to the ‘Thailand Pass’ registration scheme, while the minimum US$10,000 health insurance coverage requirement was also done away with. Fully vaccinated tourists are free to travel anywhere in the county; such quarantine-free entry is also on offer for non-vaccinated or partially vaccinated visitors too, as long as they show a negative result of a professional ATK or RT-PCR test taken within 72 hours of embarkation.

After such updates in the entry protocols, it’s easier than ever to enjoy a holiday or business trip to the country’s key destinations including its capital; here, tourists can stay at a modern service apartment in Bangkok including those at centrally located properties like Maitria Residence Rama 9 that have strict health and hygiene measures in place too.
