Thailand Yet Again Voted a Favourite Travel Destination in the World – A Country Full of Never-Ending Charm

Thailand continues to retain its title as one of the top travel destinations in the world. The recognition was conferred by Asia’s Best Rewards, an inaugural segment of the popular Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia magazine. The readers of the magazine voted for Bangkok for the warm hospitality and the spicy street food whilst the magazine described Phuket as an uber- luxe holiday destination with party vibes, a host of outdoor activities and fun in the sun.

The votes were also cast on a variety of categories like favourite hotels, resorts, restaurants, and bars in Thailand and other countries in the Southeast Asian Region. Commenting on the awards, Prime Minister of Thailand, Prayut Chan-o-cha added that he is elated to find that cities like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Phuket and Koh Samui continue to sweep travellers off their feet with their splendour.
