Thailand’s Borders Are Fully Reopened – Thailand Pass Registration Also Simplified

While Thailand has fully reopened its borders, the country has also been updating its entry protocols with restrictions being relaxed too. Amongst the changes that came into effect from 1st June this year was the required Thailand Pass registration for tourists being simplified. While international travellers still need to apply for this pass (https://tp.consular.go.th/) the process has been made easier; one just needs to provide details of the passport, vaccination and a health insurance policy with a coverage of at least US$10,000 and a Thailand Pass QR code will be automatically issued via the system.

With quarantine free holidays on offer as well, travellers can head to key destinations again including the Thai capital. Further boosting traveller confidence is the chance to choose from safe accommodation options including stays at a 5-star Bangkok hotel; properties that are SHA++ certified such as Emporium Suites by Chatrium have stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards in place and provide an ideal base in the city.
