Thailand’s Nightlife Comes Back to Life

Thailand has been re-emerging from its secured state to an almost normalised and completely open country since restrictions were raised due to the COVID-19 pandemic taking a toll on every country, person and industry in the world. The country has eased its travel and COVID-19-related restrictions to boost tourism on the road to economic recovery. Therefore, tourists of hotels like Avani Khon Kaen Hotel & Convention Centre no longer need to stay indoors at night.

Therefore, a hotel in Khon Kaen is not the only place a tourist can visit at night. As of 1st June 2022, the country has allowed many regions to keep their pubs, bars and karaoke clubs open and serve alcohol until midnight. The decision was made following a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-Cha, held on the 20th of May 2022.
