The 39th Bali Arts Festival – Bali Arts Festival Returns for Another Time!

Bali – “the island of gods” is well known for its ancient temples and religious and cultural festivals. In order to truly experience Bali’s culture, you must take the time to witness local festivities. The 39th Bali Arts Festival which is one of the most colourful events that should not be missed when in Bali concluded on the 8th of July. The festival witnessed a massive crowd enjoying a range of cultural performances & lesser known traditional practices. The festival which was held over a period of a month featured handicraft exhibitions, classical palace dances, odd musical performances such as “Kreasi Baru” and much more. The festival which was declared opened by President Joko Widodo also featured village dances that are unique to Bali and from the areas that are outside the island as well.
