The fifth Asian Beach games is the extravagant biennial sporting event that consists of representing the countries of Asia taking part in a heated series of sporting events involving a beach setting, and is regulated by the Olympic Council of Asia. Despite being a fairly new sporting event, having first started off in 2008, the Asian Beach Games has developed into a massive phenomenon, attracting countless spectators whenever and wherever it occurs.
This time around, the locale that will showcase this grand and elaborate event will be the country of Vietnam, or more specifically, the popular destination of Nha Trang, whose iconic and pristine beaches contain stunning resorts such as the Anantara Si Kao Resort and Spa, a one a kind Krabi Luxury Resort that is a staple in the area.
Don’t let the name of the event fool you, since the beach games contain a bounty of sports encompassing not just water but land and air as well, with events ranging from martial-arts to BMX-biking, from para-gliding to skate-boarding, and of course all the water-sports you can think of.
