The Kite festival is certainly one of the most anticipated festivals that are celebrated in Indonesia. The festival features thousands of colourful kites decorating the skies. The annual event usually happens between July and August when the weather and climatic conditions are ideal for kiting. This year’s festival took off on the 3rd of July and extended until the 5th. The event as usual features some of the most beautiful at the same time odd looking kites. The event takes a lot of effort for preparation and construction of some of the kites featured in the event almost took a year to complete. Event organisers also stated that this year’s festival also hosted a myriad of tourist who was stationed at Bali resort hotel properties the likes of Anantara Seminyak Bali Resort which are located close to the festival grounds
