The Brisbane Comedy Festival is Back – Side Effects May Include Side-Splitting Laugher!

One of Australia’s most popular comedic events, the Brisbane Comedy Festival is back in 2019 to tickle your funny bone. The festival will begin on 22nd February and will run till 24th March, playing host to some of the funniest comedians from Australia and around the world. The festival kicks off with an opening gala hosted by Charlie Pickering on 22nd February at the Brisbane City Hall, within five minutes from Oaks Felix. Other host venues include SunPAC and the Brisbane Powerhouse, easy to reach from centrally located hotels and river view apartments Brisbane has to offer.

Marking the 10th anniversary of this event, the Brisbane Comedy Festival 2019 will features over 70 performers involved in stand up, sketch comedy and improv. Damien Power, Ronny Chieng, Felicity Ward, Nazeem Hussain, Double Denim and Scared Weird Little Guys are just a few of the comedic talents who will perform.
