The Fifty Shades of Pain Conference – No Pain with Lots to Gain

A unique gathering that will focus on palliative care, alleviating pain and pain management, the Fifty Shades of Pain Conference will take place in Brisbane, Australia from 3rd to 5th December. The event which is ideal for doctors, nurses and those working in the healthcare profession will be hosted at the TAFE Queensland Brisbane South Bank Campus which was formerly known as the Southbank Institute of Technology. Participants can opt to stay at nearby Brisbane serviced apartments such as Oaks Charlotte Towers, which provides easy access to the venue.

The first such event of its kind, the Fifty Shades of Pain Conference is expected to bring together over 300 pain-management and specialist palliative healthcare professionals from Australia. Workshops regarding pain management and care will take place on the 3rd of December, while the main conference will take place the next two days, with keynote speakers including Professor Julia Fleming, Professor Kathy Eagar, Professor Deborah Schofield and Professor David Currow.
