The Fourth Edition of Sustainable Tourism Forum (stf) 2023: IMTM Hosts

IMTM held the fourth edition of the Sustainable Tourism Forum (STF) 2023 on December 11th and 12th, 2023. With the theme “Green Investments and Innovations for Responsible Tourism: Paving Path for a Greener Future,” this forum was a dynamic and influential event dedicated to fostering meaningful actions and collaborations that will shape a more environmentally conscious and responsible future for the tourism industry.

STF 2023 uncovered and consolidated impactful initiatives and partnerships that contribute to a greener, more responsible future in tourism. Focused on raising awareness about the unique vulnerabilities of the Maldivian tourism sector to climate change, the forum also contextualized the adverse impacts of climate change and development on the long-term sustainability of the sector.
